Great Futures Start with Service
Thank you for your interest! We believe that volunteers transform the lives of our members, which is why we strive to provide meaningful and valuable experiences for volunteers looking to give back. We seek volunteers who are role models in the community and who wish to contribute to a safe and positive environment where young people can learn and grow.
Service-learning opportunities are available for those seeking college credit.
Individual Volunteers
In keeping with our commitment to child safety, we require all individual volunteers to successfully complete the following steps before they are placed in one of our Clubs:
1. Volunteer application
2. Background check by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware
3. Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware Safety Trainings
To begin the process, complete the form below. A Boys & Girls Club staff member will respond to your inquiry via email and will discuss the next steps in your volunteer application process. Please note that due to limited volunteer openings, we may not always be able to accommodate all volunteer requests. Additionally, most of our volunteer opportunities occur Monday- Friday between 3:00 and 6:00pm.
Volunteer as a Group
From holiday parties to summer activities to beautification projects, volunteer groups have a big impact on the Club Kid experience. If your work or community group is interested in volunteering at a Club, program or event, please complete the request form below.
