Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware Announces Alan Adams as the 2023 Joseph Dulin Staff of the Year

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is proud to present the 2023 Joseph Dulin Staff of the Year award to Alan Adams, Childcare Director at the H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club. Alan has been with the organization for nearly a decade, during which time he has gone above and beyond to use his talents and abilities to create a fun, safe and educational space for our members where they have the opportunity to thrive.

In his nominations, Alan was described as having a calm, caring and nurturing demeanor that supported his students in their efforts to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. He was nominated for this ability to foster collaboration and inclusivity in the workplace, and his dedication to providing opportunities for member and the community to engage in Club events. Alan’s positive behavior management and promotion of independence and creativity supports the growth of our members, preparing them for Great Futures ahead. Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is grateful to have Alan as a part of our team, and is proud to present him with the 2023 Joseph Dulin Staff of the Year award.

About Joseph H Dulin Staff of the Year Award   

The Board of Directors established the Joseph H. Dulin Staff of the Year Award when Mr. Dulin retired after 30 years of service with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware. This award is presented to the staff member who best exemplifies the following positive attributes of Joseph H Dulin: dedication to the job as illustrated by performance above and beyond what is normally expected; a concern for the well-being of children; support for the mission of the Boys & Girls Club; concern for the welfare of other staff; a positive role model; a leader and an innovator.
