GM FOUNDATION
PRESENTED $100,000 TO
B&GCD CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
The General Motors (GM) Foundation presented a
$100,000 check to the B&GCD in January at a press conference, which
contributed to the Capital Campaign. GM's donation brings the Campaign
total to $9,431,512. Additionally, twelve employees of GM's Saturn
Wilmington Assembly Center are currently assisting with maintenance
projects at the Greater Newark and Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Clubs.

MBNA AMERICA & DUPONT PRESENTED
$2,000,000 TO
B&GCD CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
In order to provide quality and life-changing programs to 30,000 youth annually by 2005, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware's Board of Directors and Staff - in consultation with community leaders and financial specialists - recently launched a Capital Campaign, "Foundation for the Future." During a recent press conference to announce the campaign, contributions totaling $2,000,000 were presented by MBNA America and DuPont
in August 2002.
