The Escrip program enables supporters to make donations while shopping at participating local and national merchant retail stores and web sites. These merchants, in turn, donate a certain percentage of the sales. Escrip also offers additional ways to raise funds for the nonprofit organizations including a Rewards Network Program, an Escrip VISA card and a Vehicle Donation Program. Currently, there are 660 supporters registered for the program. If you or someone you know would like to sign up, please visit www.escrip.com. Similarly, B&GCD is also registered for schoolcash.com. The program is comparable in that the participating merchants donate a certain percentage of purchases made by supporters. The difference is that the merchants are primarily online. To shop, supporters link to merchants’ web sites via www.schoolcash.com.
