1931 Community Service Organization incorporated as the Boys Club of Wilmington
1932 Boys Club moves from in the Queen Theatre building on Market Street in Wilmington to the old Bethany Baptist Church on Jackson Street
1949 The first H. Fletcher Brown Club opens at 17th and Church Streets
1970 The Clarence Fraim Club begins operation
1977 The new H. Fletcher Brown facility is built on Spruce Street
1982 The New Castle Club opens in the Rose Hill Community Center
1986 The Claymont Club opens in the Claymont Community Center
1989 Boys Club of Wilmington becomes the Boys Clubs of Delaware
1990 All facilities begin providing services to girls
1991 The Dover Club begins operation
1992 Boys Clubs of Delaware becomes Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware
1994 Boys & Girls Club of Greater Newark opens
1995 Boys & Girls Clubs in Western Sussex and Milford open
1996 Dover Air Force Base Youth Center becomes a Boys & Girls Club
1997 New club opens at Wesley College in Dover,
Child Care opens
1998 New Western Sussex Club opens; Appoquinimink Club opens
1999 Wesley College Club relocates to renovated house,
Child Care opens,
Liberty Court Extension Club opens,
Woodbridge Extension opens
1999 Greater Smyrna / Clayton Club Opens
2000 Baltz Extension Club opens,
Brandywine Springs Child Care opens
2001 Laurel Extension Club opens,
Georgetown & Oak Orchard Clubs open
2002 Appoquinimink Club relocates
2003 Dagsboro Child Care opens
2004 Georgetown Club moved to 115 North Race Street and Clayton, North Smyrna, Smyrna, Hartly, Showell, and Woodbridge Elementary Before & After School Site Child Care programs opened
2005 School Site Child Care Programs opened in Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center and North Star Elementary School
